Fractures of the radial shaft associated with disruption of the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) are termed Galeazzi fractures. These fractures are unstable injuries requiring open reduction and internal fixation of the fracture to achieve optimal outcomes. DRUJ stability should be carefully assessed intraoperatively and addressed accordingly. Copyright © 2020 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved. DOI: 10.1016/j.hcl.2020.07.006
